Our Team
Our highly trained and experienced team is locally licensed and certified by industry leading organizations including the International Code Council (ICC) and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). With over 15 years of experience in electrical installations and code inspections, we know the ins and outs of residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems, big or small. We work with all parties, including but not limited to contractors, homeowners, business owners, code enforcement officials, architects, engineers, etc. We also have electrical code instructors on staff. If you are looking for continued education for professional purposes or just want to expand your knowledge of electrical code and systems, visit our education page for more information.
Industry standards, practices and codes are constantly evolving. Although the National Electrical Code updates every 3 years, New York State officially adopts code cycles on a different schedule. We keep up with those changes and work diligently with our clients to keep them informed.
Information is ALWAYS FREE. Call us anytime at 845-303-5322 with any code related questions. If you're unsure about the proper way to perform an installation, we can help!
Unless otherwise required in a specific jurisdiction, electrical work in New York State is required to comply with NFPA 70: National Electrical Code. The code cycle currently adopted by most jurisdictions is 2017. The next code cycle to be adopted is 2023. New York State has decided to skip over the 2020 cycle. While the 2023 code cycle was released at the end of 2022, it has not yet been adopted by New York State. The 2023 version is expected to be adopted sometime this year (2025).
